Development Review The Town recognizes that time is money for the business community, and has reduced the plan review time in half for Main Street development projects. Development Fees The Town Council has approved the allocation of $100,000 for the purpose of buying down the charge for development impact fees. Fees may be partially or completely paid by the Town. The Town is currently working to establish guidelines for the reduction of plan review and building permit fees. Main Street Program The Town has established a Main Street Program with professional staff available to assist you in establishing your business on Main Street. The Main Street Project Manager is available to meet with you and assist with processing your proposals through the appropriate channels. The Main Street Program also has a nine member Board of Directors who are currently striving to ensure that you have the best opportunity to succeed with your business. Commercial Rehab Program The Town is currently funding a commercial rehab program that will provide up
to $10,000 in grant funds to improve the current appearance of existing
structures on Main Street. Payson Regional Economic Development Corporation The Payson Regional Economic Development Corporation is also available to
assist your business in locating within the Town of Payson. Scott Flake is the
current manager for this program and is located in the Main Street Office at
600 South Green Valley Parkway in Payson. |
