The Town Attorney's Office acts as the Town Prosecutor, prosecuting misdemeanor violations of State Law and Town Code violations that are filed in the Town Magistrate Court. The Town Prosecutor also is responsible for providing victim services and notification to all statutory victims. During the 2009/10 fiscal year, the Town Prosecutor handled over 750 cases.

The Office does NOT investigate crimes. All crimes should be reported directly to the Police Department.

If you are a DEFENDANT, and need information about your next court date, please contact the Town Magistrate Court at (928) 474-5267.The Magistrate Court is located in the Gila County Complex at 714 South Beeline Highway, at the corner of Main Street and Beeline Highway.

If you have pled not guilty to a criminal offense, you next appearance will most likely be a Pre-Trial Conference. At the Pre-Trial Conference, you will receive a copy of the Police Report and a list of what witnesses will be called if your cases goes to trial.
