NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND AGENDA
AND NOTICE OF POSSIBLE EXECUTIVE SESSION

RIM Country Educational Alliance, SLE

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the governing board members of the RIM Country Educational Alliance and to the general public that the RIM Country Educational Alliance Governing Board will hold a meeting open to the public at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Payson Police Training Room, 303 N. Beeline Highway, Payson, Arizona.  The Governing Board may, by majority vote, go into executive session pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(3) and (4).  The executive session will not be open to the public. 

Persons with disability may request a reasonable accommodation by contacting the RIM Country Educational Alliance Board Chairman, Mike Vogel at (928) 474-5242 extension 396.  Public meeting packet of agenda items will be available at the Payson Town Hall at least 24 hours before the public meeting.

Members of the governing board may attend by telephone, conference call or video communications.

4.            Minutes of regular meeting held January 19, 2012.

 

5.            Discussion and/or action items

a.       Amend Policies and Procedures adopted December 8, 2011.

 

b.       Board discussion and/or action to authorize Mike Vogel to enter into negotiations with colleges and universities regarding use and occupancy of a campus of higher learning in Payson.

 

c.        Consulting Agreement between RIM Country Educational Alliance and D 7 Development for services required to facilitate the achievement of the planning and development of a campus of higher learning as defined in the RIM Country Educational Alliance Governance Agreement. 

The Board may discuss this matter in Executive Session with its legal counsel pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3) and (4).  The Board may decide this matter in the public meeting or defer decision to a later date.

 

6.      Request for placement of items on a future agenda.

 

7.      Adjournment.
