The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a widening project on State Route 260 in Star Valley east of Payson. 

Intermittent daytime lane restrictions along SR 260 will be in place from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 5 a.m. to noon on Fridays, as needed. One travel lane in each direction will be maintained on SR 260 during construction. When needed, flaggers and a pilot car will move drivers through the work zone. ADOT advises drivers to plan for delays while the work is underway.
