I was Born in Cambridge Massachusetts and graduated from Cambridge High and Latin.

I Served a 2-year mission in New Mexico after traveling in California in the 70’s.

I Enlisted in the Air force as a personal specialist and my first assignment was Kadena AFB Okinawa.

As a Personal Specialist we were liaisons between geographically separated units. We performed actions associated with management of the personnel data system and advised on career progression and administered performance reports, airman and officer promotion programs, retirement programs, discharges, and reenlistment.  H.R. functions

I separated in AZ 1986 with an Honorable discharge and joined the Airforce reserves as a personal specialist and discharged in 1987 with an Honorable discharge as a Staff Sargent E-5.

My former spouse and I started a residential cleaning business which grew into residential/commercial business.  I returned to college and received a degree in Social Work and became a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor and worked in Behavioral Health. I worked with those who were duly diagnosed with mental health and substance abuse issues.

During that time, I married my beautiful wife of 29 years.  Together we raised 11 children.  As a married couple we became foster parents and adopted three of the 11 children and continue to foster adults. My wife and I have been fostering parents for the past 18 years.

It will be 11 years in Payson as of October 2025 since I took a job with Southwest Behavioral health.

My family moved up to Payson in June 2015.  Upon my retirement as a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor in 2017 I became a substitute teacher at the Middle School and High School in Payson for a short time.
