Suzy was elected to the Town Council in 2018 as the first "Write-in Candidate" in Payson. She has lived in Payson most of her life. Suzy has three adult children who are former PUSD students: Tyler, Carisa, and Steven. She has four grandchildren, who are her absolute joy in life, and two fur babies, Rasta and Sophie, who make her home life complete. Suzy is a local Realtor® at ERA Young Realty and has been for nine years. Her prior career was at The Rim Golf Club Community Association, where she worked for almost 15 years as the Community Manager. Her experience as Community Manager has given her expertise and a comprehensive understanding of related controlling documents, infrastructure, and architectural and building requirements.

Suzy’s professional experience and dedication to serving the community in leadership capacities, such as President of Payson Community Kids and other charitable organizations, have built a strong network of long-term community contacts and relationships based on trust and confidence. 

In her free time, Suzy enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering, hiking, exercising, and paddle boarding.
