The Town of Payson is responsible for issuing business licenses for all business activities within the Town limits. All persons doing business in the Town of Payson are required to have a Town issued Business License, unless they are exempt by the Payson Town Code.

Mobile Food Vendors or Merchants include food trucks, food trailers, and other mobile food units or merchants operating within the Town of Payson.

Mobile Food Vendors and merchants who:

• Live in Payson, or
• Operate regularly throughout the year, or
• Participate in multiple events or locations over an extended period

should apply for an Out-of-Town or Home Based business License rather than a Temporary license.

Mobile Food Vendors or Merchants participating in a single event or operating for a short, defined period may apply for a Temporary & Event Vendor Business License.

All Mobile Food Vendors must also comply with applicable County Health Department requirements.
