Obtain Police Records

To obtain copies of departmental reports or other reports or media released under public records law, you can submit a request using LexisNexis. This online portal can assist you with requesting the following reports:

This instructional guide may assist you in submitting a public records request using LexisNexis. During this process, you will be asked to specify your involvement with the record you are seeking. Media members are encouraged to select "other" and describe your media affiliation in the field provided so your request can be accurately tracked and processed. Once a public records request is successfully submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.

While the Records Division strives to fulfill records requests as soon as possible, some requests may take longer than others to process based on complexity, size, and nature of the records sought. Each request is processed in the order in which it is received.

If the item you are seeking is not listed on the portal, contact the Records Division in person or by phone during regular business hours. Report requests can be made in person by going to the Payson Police Department during normal business hours.
